MEANING OF MYTHS, SYMBOLS AND PARABLES

WHY WISDOM IS NOT CLEAR OR DIRECT?

Wisdom is for everybody, but it is not for everybody. Wisdom comes to all human beings, but not all of them are able to understand it.
You can explain whatever you want to everybody, but we, teachers, know that not everybody understands what we explain. It takes a special faculty to grab knowledge and make it part of our life.
Well, if not everybody can understand wisdom then, how can we help those who are not able to understand it? The answer is really simple: Explain them what is enough for their level of understanding.

Obviously we can teach basic mathematics to kids, but when they are ready we can explain them algebra and later calculus and so on. The more they know the most they understand. Easy, right?

Well, MYTHS, SYMBOLS, PARABLES WERE MADE FOR THOSE WHO ARE NOT READY FOR THE WHOLE TRUTH; BUT THE DEEP MEANING OF THEM ARE FOR THOSE WHO ARE READY AND ABLE TO UNDERSTAND THAT HAT IS REAL WISDOM.

Those who are not ready for the real thing will be happy with the literal understanding without a real analysis of the meaning. Those people take everything in a literal way. They believe the planet was made in 7 days and men were created from mud just because the Bible says so. But how a planet can be created in 7 days when all the planets in the universe took millions of year to be formed? How can a toy of mud become alive? How can people believe that? Those are tales for kids. Please, note this: I AM NOT SAYING THE BIBLE IS TELLING LIES. I AM SAYING: DO NOT TAKE THE MYTHS, SYMBOLS AND PARABLES IN A LITERAL WAY. I explain some of these meaning on my blogs. Just check around and find them.

THE MATTER OF A SYMBOL, A MYTH AND A PARABLE IS THE MEANING. Symbols, myths and parables are only tools to express a high wisdom, actually I mean the original wisdom. The wisdom that ancient Masters like Buddha, Jesus, Moses, Quetzalcoatl, etc. had.

Whoever takes all these symbols in a literal way is making a huge mistake. Wisdom does not depend on interpretations. Wisdom requires a special language for those able to understand it.

Myths are talking about real things, but is a very symbolic way. Those Greek heroes are telling us about real deeds we all can do, but those monsters that were killed by Hercules, Perseus, etc. are just representations of tasks we all have to fulfill in order to get a higher level of consciousness. The serpent (My favorite symbol) has many meanings that I explain on the article: THE MEANING OF THE SERPENT (Check for link on the bottom).

Parables, myths and symbols are a language understood by...

HEROES IN MYTHS, IN ANCIENT CIVILIZATIONS AND IN MODERN LIFE.

INTRODUCTION.

Greek heroes like Hercules and Perseus inspire many lives. Thor and the great Nordics gods too. The myths of heroes and gods have a magical touch that make us love them mover and mover. Heroes are everywhere in ancient civilizations and nowadays we have the modern super-heroes to entertain us.  Actually modern super-heroes come from the idea of ancient heroes and gods from mythology.

Heroes inspire our life. We always need someone to trust, someone who is an example for us. We love heroes and heroines too. Life without them could be really meaningless.
Heroes from our ancient past inspired many generations. Their deeds were told everywhere and when time passes by they became myths. It does not mean they did not exist. It means their life was left to us as mythological. Why? Simple, the art of decoding the great realities is written in symbols. It is never told in a mere profane language.

All ancient cultures had a great knowledge or wisdom for the high hierarchies and priests.  Regular people had not the knowledge to understand real wisdom. It had always been that way.

Hercules, Perseus, Thor, Quetzalcoatl, etc. existed. They are not mere myths, but their deeds were written in symbols and they became myths.

One example: Buddha. It is said when he was born he talked and explain what he was coming for. Moreover, he gave seven steps and from each step lotus flowers came out from the ground. How can we take that in a literal way? There is no way I could believe that happen as it was written. Nevertheless, I do not say it is a lie. I say it is written in a symbolic way. The “talking” represents the higher level of consciousness that being had. In ancient times, the power of talking was a symbol of intelligence and power. Those seven steps represent the seven chakras, which he had worked in past lives and he is bringing to this new life to become THE BUDDHA, THE AWAKEN ONE!

Now let’s talk about some heroes from different cultures, from those great civilizations.

THE MIGHTY HERCULES:
No, he was not a body builder. That strength represents a spiritual strength and not a physical one.  Nature has one law: THE STRONGEST SURVIVE! The spiritual path is a natural path and therefore it has the same law.

REAL LOVE: CUPID, VENUS AND THE MYTHS OF LOVE!

We all look for TRUE LOVE or REAL LOVE.  Love is a need. Our life is empty without love. Venus(Aphrodite) and Cupid (Eros) have the keys for true love. Love, love, love… Only four letters with such a magical and tremendous power! Who is able to defeat love? Nobody! That is what THE MYTHS OF LOVE say.

VENUS AND CUPID WILL DEFEAT ANY HERO OR GOD!

What happened to Pygmalion? Yes, he made a statue and his love made it to have life! Cupid himself was not able to resist love. Apollo, the son of Jupiter, was defeated by love!

All great heroes, who were able to defeat in battles and were braves, were not able to defeat love. Love is the strongest power of the universe! The great Apollo, after defeating the serpent Python, mocked at Cupid and his tiny arrows. Cupid through one of his arrows to the the god. He felt totally in love with Daphne, but she did not get married. Apollo was not able to defeat love, because love is untamed. Love is as it is and not the way you want. Love does not care about race, skin color, reputation, social status, etc. LOVE IS THE POWER WHICH DEFEAT ALL DESIRES AND FANTASIES. You will find a link about THE MYTHS OF LOVE on the bottom for details about Apollo and Daphne and other myths.

THOSE MYTHS OF LOVE HAVE A MAGICAL ATRACTION BECAUSE LOVE ITSELF IS MAGIC!
Those who think they can mock at love are totally ignorant and arrogant people. They will not ever get real love in their life. They might get attraction, desire, pleasure, but not love. The are doomed to a life without real love.

DO NOT MOCK AT THOSE WHO FEEL REAL LOVE, CUPID MIGH HEAR YOU AND CONDEMNED YOU TO N IMPOSSIBLE LOVE.LET THOSE SOULS TO LOVE EACH OTHER AND WAIT FOR YOUR TURN. DO NOT MOCK AT OTHERS FEELINGS BECAUSE THEY ARE FREE AND SO YOU ARE.

Cupid and Venus are always triumphant! Love eats love and needs love! You who love someone be careful because love comes once a d you cannot play with it because it is like an innocent child (Cupid) who runs away if molested and do not come back!

CULWISDOM: THE GREEKS

All cultures had myths and sometimes it is hard to understand them. Greek's myths are a beat more clear and they are beautiful.

The gods among all cultures were represented in many different ways. Greek's gods are more similar to humans. On one hand they seem to have a human body and, on the other hand, they seem to have human emotions and even human behavior.

Well, they are depicted in a very human way, but it does not mean they were human like. If they were then they were not gods. The reason is simple: The emotion expressed by a god is to depict something in particular. Anger, for example, represents that the god is not happy with whatever a person did. How could that be represented? Zeus chasing all those mortals look like he was a kind of human women lover. Nevertheless, that is a childish way to see it. This will be explain in another article, check on the bottom for links.

This is blog is to talk about those symbols and meaning. Ancient Greeks were amazing and it cannot be doubt about it.

CULWISDOM – GREEKS AND NORDICS (WISDOM AND MYTHS)

CULWISDOM – GREEKS AND NORDICS (WISDOM AND MYTHS)

The Greeks and Nordics left their wisdom and myths for us to understand them sooner or later as the Celts and the cultures from around the world did. Now days in the 21st century, the glory of our ancestors will come out to its original splendor.
All cultures had a golden state that was lost in time. The ancient cultures, in that golden state, were able to build great civilizations because they had the original knowledge that belonged to all humans in the beginning.
We need to understand the message of the elders. They knew how to get in harmony with nature and the universe.
How the world could ever forget the great civilization of the Greeks and its philosophers? Let’s remember the great warrior Achilles, the mighty Hercules, Jason and his Argonauts, Perseus, Venus, Minerva, etc.

How can we forget the glory of Odin and Thor (The thunder god)? Now days we have this great movie: THOR.

We will always talk about the great deeds of these heroes. They will always be an example and an inspiration for us and for the future generations.

Time has come where we have to understand not just the great wisdom trapped within the myths of the Greeks and Nordics; but within all cultures including Mayas, Aztecs and Incas.
We will go slowly into a non-classical way to understand the ancient cultures to improve our modern life.

We will need the hammer of Thor to bring light to the age of darkness, which will soon die to let the ancient elders come back to life.
Let’s start with this question: Why myths are important? Why the ancient cultures used this way to explain their wisdom? Why is the time to go back to the elder’s wisdom?
